A musician from the start—
After writing her first song at the age of 8, Bri Ray fell in love with the art of songwriting, singing, and performing.
Today, her original music has gained recognition both nationally and internationally, including being named the first ever Presidential Scholar of the Arts in the singer-songwriter discipline.
Bri Ray has engaged audiences in renowned venues such as Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center, California’s Dolby Theatre, American Idol, and Utah’s LaVell Edwards Stadium to name a few.
Bri Ray continues to write and release music that inspires her in hopes it will do the same for others.
In addition to her solo career, Bri Ray is also a lead vocalist in the billboard charting group the King will come.
As a motivational speaker, she has toured across the nation teaching kindness, tolerance, and understanding at schools, youth groups, business retreats, and more.
Bri Ray Aupiu is a Utah native. She grew up as one of six children in a bi-racial home in the heart of Utah County. Her family is a collage of biological, adopted, and added siblings—giving her a deeper perspective into the unique experiences of interracial families.
In 2021, Bri Ray Aupiu started the Raising Me Foundation. An organization dedicated to empowering, encouraging and uplifting parents and children united through transracial adoption and interracial families.
On a mission is to build bridges of understanding that cross racial, cultural and educational barriers, she is determined to provide the education, resources, and support needed to help loving parents raise confident children of color.
Bri Ray Aupiu is a self-starter with over 10 years of marketing and project management experience under her belt. She’s led initiatives for companies in various industries including venture capital, education, childcare, health and wellness, entertainment, social impact and more.
As an independent contractor with a passion for brand honesty, partnerships, and social media, Bri Ray Aupiu helps her clients discover their brand, creative direction, and marketing strategy.
